Climould was designed by Al
Whitworth while at university
studying Engineering in
Cambridge. The lack of local
crags or indoor walls led to the
idea of a training aid that
could be mounted in the college
room without needing to be
attached to the wall.
Al
now lives in Shetland, UK and is
one of the active climbers
developing climbing on the
islands (see
www.climbshetland.co.uk) |
